Staff was friendly, price was fantastic, room was big and clean. A/C was old and super noisy and the bed didn’t have a comforter, so it made for a bad nights sleep for us. Casino is great. Best luck on slots we’ve ever had in Louisiana. Walk from the hotel is easy and they even have a free shuttle if you don’t want to walk it. You can’t beat the room price! Bradley was sweet and took our luggage up to our room. The hotel is old with limited conveniences. No help with luggage or parking considering we are elderly. We had a problem with a bad leak in the bathroom and no room straightening service on 2nd day as offered. No restaurant nor local place to buy food (except vending machine). There was good shuttle transportation to and from casino which ran on a timely schedule. There were restaurants in a nearby hotel and at the casino. We are accustomed to getting Casino rooms free but we don't play there, so paying so little for such a nice room is a no-brainer. We'd have paid more staying at a substandard motel.
