“I enjoyed my brief stay at the property. The check in process was unusual. I talked with the property manager via Ring and the place was unlocked. Also, I was initially unsure which room I would occupy. But everything got sorted out. The location is very, very close to the street, but the building, which apparently was constructed in 1810, was so well constructed that any noises from passing traffic could not be heard. The room was quiet and comfortable. The ambience of the place was……

“This is a hotel in a tourist town near mammoth cave national park. It would have been nice to check in and swim in the pool after hiking in the caves and the woods in the 100 degree heat. The front desk clerk informed us we only had 20 minutes before the pool closed ! Wanting to make the most of it, we rushed to the room, changed into our suits and made it to the pool by 745 only to find they closed early !!! Do better!!! This is a tourist destination with room and families and kids !!! Get……

“I wish there were a little bit of sausages or bacon for breakfast. Also, the bathrooms are not entirely squeaky clean, but overall it’s a good place and good value for money.”

“The inn takes you back in 1800 era with the ambience, decor and charm. The surrounding also reflects “frozen in time”. Stories from pictures, paintings, crafts displays. The rooms have modern amenities and convenience. Breakfast was simple and delicious, bacon, eggs, pancakes or waffles. The nostalgia of yesteryears permeates everything… very interesting experience. Staff was welcoming from reservation throughout arrival and stay … like visiting a family. Very convenient to see the Cave. ……

“Overall our stay was great. The apartment is very cool and unique and is in a great location for exploring Cave City and Mammoth Cave National Park although there really is nothing to do in Horse Cave. The apartment was clean and offered many conveniences like a full kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the AC and TV worked well. The only reasons I could not give it a 5 were the entry door and shower. The door is very old and does not offer much security. One kick would easily open it. ……

“Access to go out not working. Only 1 key card for 3 people. Breakfast was a total joke. 4 hand towels at a time in pool area. Bathroom really small. Not any carts to help move your stuff. Pool was clean and we'll maintained.”

“Our host was extremely accommodating. Communication was great. We were supplied with firewood and a great place to cook out. We spent our last evening by the fire pit and it was quite peaceful. This is the perfect place if you want a camping atmosphere without the camping nightmares (poor sleep, bugs all night, etc.) Our bed was comfortable, our shower was warm and the kitchen was clean and user friendly. We truly enjoyed our stay at Patrick’s Place.”
