This hidden piece of paradise offers you a panoramic ocean view, private ocean entry where you can snorkeling or dive right to the coral reefs behind the home, or watch the beautiful sunsets, the view of the island ''Klein Bonaire'' from its backyard patio/sundeck.

The apartement offers ground floor living, cool breeze troughout the whole apartment aloung with sliding glass doors and shutter windows, and all screened four your convenience.
Two large air-conditioned master bedrooms make sleeping comfortable. Each bedroom boasts a full, private, Italian style bathroom with double sinks and shower. One bedroom has the additional feature of an bathtub.
Located directly on the water with easy access with a comfortable ladder to the Caribbean sea, the property is surrounded by palm and coconut trees.
A lot off flowering Bouganvillea and tropical birds make this property a paradise on Bonaire. Rinse tanks and divegear locker are available for the diver. A full service diveshop, tours are right next door. Dive or snorkel off your backyard or enjoy dozens of dive sites just minutes away.

Beautiful Bonaire property
We stayed March 30 - April 6, 2024. Property was exactly as pictured. Very clean. Beds were comfortable. WIFI worked great. Five minutes from airport. Very close to dive sites like Salt Pier, Alice in Wonderland, Hilma Hooker, etc. (2 - 5 minutes down road). Rinse tanks were very nice with a private locker for gear. They provide a key for the lock, so no nee to bring your own lock. Also places on patio to hang gear in sun to dry. The view cannot be beat from the property. All the dishes you need. Plenty of towels for diving, so no need to bring any. Very nice to have a dishwasher and washer. We were met at property upon check-in. Everything went very smoothly. We had one question about check-out procedure, and sent message which during stay which was answered promptly. I'd definitely stay here again!!!

Diving in your backyard!
Great stay for a diving trip! Reef behind the appartment is great during the day and at night. Gear can be rinsed and stored on location. Kitchen utensils all there also a BBQ. Will surely book again!

A true gem!
We felt truly lucky, indeed, to be able to stay at Casa Iguana on our third visit to Bonaire. The deck, view and reef with private ladder water entry were fantastic. Indoors was quite spacious and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped for cooking at-home meals which was especially handy with so many restaurants already at capacity. We made great use of the charcoal grill as well. The rinse tanks and secure lockers provided for stowing dive gear were particularly handy in the parking area. There were nice folks renting upstairs and sharing the deck was never a problem. Definitely recommend!

Exactly what we wanted and more!!!!
For my wife and I, this place was perfect. First off, the view off of the deck is simply stunning.....be sure to catch every sunset! The house was very nicely appointed and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped and all the necessary pots/pans/appliances are there to make cooking a breeze. Rudi (the home's caretaker) was waiting to pick us up and then delivered us back to the airport in a timely fashion. You simply cannot go wrong with renting this home, it is wonderful in every sense of the word. In addition, the owner (Joyce) is a pleasure to work with and very knowledgeable about Bonaire....so if you need any coaching or advice, she is more than willing to lend a hand. I would most certainly rent this lower home again.....I miss it already!!!

Best vacation.
Everything we need was provided and the house was perfect. View was amazing as pictured and the video. Rudi and Jennifer were very responsive. Be aware you are sharing the view and deck with people upstairs. Only thing there was a cat(me, not an animal person) that was a daily annoyance that apparently everyone feeds. Annoying when your trying to eat outside and its begging for food. Daily. My wife(who is an animal person was even annoyed) and unfortunately I forgot to bring it up to rudi. We stayed for 2 weeks which was enjoyable and will definitely stay there again. Even made friends with the couple above us! highly recommend and we are booking this place again.

Home on the Water
This property felt more like a residence than an apartment. Great views from deck. Comfortable living quarters. We love the location. It's an easy distance from town but away from the crowds when the cruise ships arrive. Updating the lounge chairs would be an improvement as would ceiling fans in the bedrooms.

Divers Paradise!
Rudi made the check in process very easy through email and met us at the property to let us in and give us a rundown of the place. The outdoor area is spectacular for sunsets! We had everything we needed during our stay. Be sure to shut the gate at night or you may have donkey visitor in your driveway. There is also a very cool cat that visits during your stay. We named her Sammy. There were bowls outside with water and past guests had fed her so we did the same. She just naps all day on the chairs and has a lot to say when you see her. We left a new bag of food behind for the next guests. :) We were very happy with our whole experience at Casa Iguana and will be coming back again!

Amazing view at this island paradise
Everything about Casa Iguana house was wonderful. Four of us stayed on the lower level. From the time we arrived at the airport, we were greeted by Rudy, who drove us to the house, showed us how everything worked, and gave us information on where to get groceries. Rudy and Jenifer were easy to contact during our stay. The house has an amazing view and water access. The kitchen is well-stocked with pots/pans/knives, tupperware, basic spices/oils, and the all important blender; the refrigerator even has an ice maker! The kitchen opens to a wonderful great room where you can dine or lounge as you look out to the ocean. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. The house gets a refreshing breeze when the bedroom windows and patio doors are open. They provide plenty of towels for all your water activities. On the back patio you can relax in one of the lounge chairs or eat at the outdoor table. In the front of the house are rinse tanks for dive/snorkel gear and the side are clotheslines to dry damp items. The house has very good security. Overall it was a great experience.

Casa Iguana is perfect!
Jenifer and Rudy are the perfect hosts. They were there if we needed them but also left us alone as this was our preference. This was my second stay Casa Iguana because I really couldn’t find or think of a better place to stay. The house is equipped with everything you might need for a stress free vacation. The location is perfect for someone that wants to be close to town but still wants some quite peace in the mornings and evenings. The only thing better than taking your morning tea or coffee overlooking the sea on the back patio is taking an evening beer or wine watching the sun set over the sea on the back patio. I would suggest renting a car (something with taller tires, like a Jeep or truck or similar) but I would suggest renting a car no matter where you stay on the island. There are so many beautiful things to see all over the island that personal transportation is a must. Casa Iguana is the home away from home that I dream to own one day.

Well equpped kitchen and direct water access!
This is a lovely spot away from the noise and bustle of Kralendijk. A ladder takes you from the deck directly to the sea for swimming, snorkling or diving. Unit is not new but kept in good repair. Kitchen is well equipped for self catering. We would go back!

Overall, very comfortable and convenient and very very beautiful.
The property was in excellent shape and the caretakers were very helpful and readily available. The only difficulty, if there were one, was the Belmar Diving Center next door, which, at times, was a bit noisy. But as divers, it was more of a benefit to us than a liability. Also, some of the cookware was not in the best shape, though we added a new Teflon frying pan to the collection. P.S. We'd be interested in rental availability next year in the Crown Ridge waterfront houses.

Staying at Casa Iguana was amazing, and it is even better equipped now than our last visit!
We stayed here five years ago and were impressed then at their attention to detail. This visit was even better! Since we set up a Christmas tree last time we came, they went ahead and decorated the house for us before we arrived. It was very organized, clean, the information binder had everything we could possibly need, and they even had a local cell phone for use at the house. It is very well-equipped in the kitchen making it a home away from home! Instructions for the use of appliances are provided in different languages. I could go on and on... They've made something great, even better!!!

Casa iguana is still nice but there have been changes
I’d give the caretakers a 10 if I could, the house itself inside is still a 5 (everything you need is there and works and is great) but since they sold the upstairs apartment I would give sharing the deck a 0... if I knew the deck was shared space and we’d loose our privacy for an entire week of our two week stay I would have never rented casa iguana a second time no matter how much we like the house and caretakers. We had a good stay at casa iguana. Rudi and Jenifer the caretakers are beyond helpful and amazing. My husband had to go to the doctor as soon as we arrived as he had a cold that had turned into bronchitis. Jenifer even went with him so we knew where to go and we’re comfortable if there were any language issues (which there weren’t but it was nice to have her with him). The house has been split since we had stayed 4 years ago. The upstairs apartment was sold and the downstairs was the same owner. I only say this because it is no longer renting the entire property. It’s a bit unfortunate if you stay downstairs and there are people upstairs because you now share the entire front deck which means if you are downstairs you may have people hanging out right in front of you Blocking your once beautiful view and they can look into your house since it’s entirety windows so privacy is non existent if there is a group staying upstairs that utilitizes the deck. The first week there was a couple upstairs who were loud the first night yelling from the deck to their upstairs apt-my husband being really sick caused me to call Jenifer which then made for an awkward, although quieter week. They were gone most of the day but spent the sunset every night on the deck... it kind of sucked as we felt we couldn’t be out there too so missed every sunset for a week and it was very uncomfortable every evening with them there lounging about. The second week was awesome as no one was upstairs and we had the deck all to ourselves. In future I would either rent the entire upstairs and downstairs-2 different owners or I would rent another house in the area (there are a lot along that road) that I didn’t have to share our view/deck. We like quiet and privacy and not sharing an apartment space as there are many cheaper options if you’d like to be social. In all Casa iguana without neighbors upstairs is absolute heaven a 10/5 but if there’s renters upstairs you roll the dice with what kind of situation you get.

Beautiful home
We spent the last week of September and the first week of October in this property. It is lovely. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioners in each bedroom work well. The kitchen has everything a cook needs. The view from the interior of the home is stunning. We enjoyed the patio. We snorkeled directly off the patio and saw lots of colorful fish many days. One afternoon a mana ray which was at least 6 or 7 feet across leisurely swam past. We also saw tarpon. A flamingo flew past one day. The review would not be complete without words of praise for the caretakers of the property. Rudi and Jenifer were two of the nicest most helpful people I have ever met. The love they have for the island is evident in the joy they take in sharing it. Their suggestions and the direction they gave us helped make the trip a success. If renting their car is an option, I would suggest it. The car is well maintained and considerably less expensive than other options on the island. Just on a personal note, a member of our party needed to visit a doctor while we were there. Rudi insisted on taking us both to the doctor and pharmacy. It was above and beyond the requirements of their job as caretakers of the property, but certainly appreciated.

Very nice home great location!
We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa Iguana. This home is lovely and is exactly as pictured. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with very nice appliances and all the necessary cookware and accessories with the exception of a cork screw which we had to borrow from some neighbors staying at Belmar! We used the grill each evening and enjoyed dinner on the patio. Sunset is beautiful from the patio. The dive shop located next door was especially convienient. They had everything we needed and swapping tanks there was a great perk of this location! The one thing we wished for was some type of shade in the afternoon. There is no umbrella on the patio area and late afternoon sun shines all the way under the over hang making it difficult to be out there after an afternoon dive. We would definitely recommend this home to others looking for a place on Bonaire!

Perfect rental for diving, relaxing and breath taking view!
This is the first time we rented a private residence in Bonaire. In the past we have stayed at Plaza and Belmar Apartments (next door). This rental was EXACTLY what we were looking for. We couldn't have been happier! We stayed for 3 weeks and part of our stay was as a family of 4 divers and part of our stay was as a couple. This property worked well for both. The best feature of this was rental the location. When we were not diving, we spent time gazing at the ocean. You could be eating on the deck, sitting in the sun or even inside the house but it was all open to the ocean view and palm trees. It was nice to swim in ocean out front and we did the dive several times right out front as well. We didn't do a night dive this trip, but it would be easy to do right here. I liked being able to cook my meals here and also be able to do laundry as needed. The kitchen had everything I needed. We ate "out" on a few times. We actually had food delivered (only $5 charge) and enjoyed our private ocean view while dining. We also walked across the street once and picked up dinner (excellent food). We went diving every day and this location was perfect. We booked our air through Belmar and it was easy to pick up tanks next door or pop in dive shop with any questions we had. This property also has two convenient rinse tanks, big dive locker and plenty of places to hang things to dry. The bedrooms are air conditioned, but the house gets a great breeze during the day with the windows open. I was able to plug in "American" outlets for things I needed to charge. We were close to south dive sites and north dive shorts were only a short drive. For one week of our stay, there were renters upstairs and that was no issue at all. We met them and it would not at all deter me from renting here again. We will be back as I can't think of anything I could do to improve the place! Finally, the owners as well as the on site caretakers were awesome to deal with. Very helpful and responsive to all of our questions.
