“We were particularly impressed with the breakfast and dinner, due the beautifully renovated dining room, high food quality and outstanding service! Don’t miss out on the made-to-order eggs benedict off the breakfast menu, as it is exceptional! In addition, we appreciated the friendliness and professionalism of all hotel staff. “durch einen Buchungsfehler wurde unser Zimmer anderweitig vergeben ; der Mitarbeiter hat sich aber mehrfach entschuldigt, uns in eine bessere Kategorie gebucht und 2 kühle Getränke auf´s Haus spendiert ; da sowas durchaus mal passieren kann (alle Menschen machen mal Fehler) und die Reaktion vorbildlich war, gibt es weiterhin 5 Sterne !

“Schere is a very old brand, good quality adequate BFand good cooking in the restaurant. We had a room with balkony overlooking red roof tops, we were smack in the middle of the city in the pedestrian precinct. To be recommended. ”

“A delightful room (Room 4), airy and neat. We appreciated the table in the room where we could eat meals. The floors were spotless. It was helpful that there were two WC, each with a shower, and that shower gel was provided. There were several grocery stores very close, including a supermarket open until 10:00pm. Do follow the German custom of leaving windows tipped open by default. Please watch out to close the shower door in such a way that water doesn't run onto the floor.”
