“Un petit hotel au calme sur les hauteurs de Guïmar, dans une ancienne ferme. La vue sur l'ocean et l'ile de la Grande Canarie au loin etait juste fantastique. Un seul bemol, les rues sont etroites, il est mieux d'avoir un petit vehicule. Les proprietaires cubains font aussi restaurant. Ils etaient en vacances pendant notre sejour et le restaurant etait fermé mais la carte semblait allechante. “A week at Marriott Ténérife. We usually stay at Hilton properties, but chose this hotel due to the lack of a Hilton in the area. Unfortunately, we could really notice the difference. In terms of the property itself, cleanliness, rooms, and breakfast style, there isn’t much difference. However, where this hotel falls short is in the service—particularly at reception. We are very down-to-earth people, but being pointed at and told, in effect, to “get it yourself” does not feel like good……

“Man sollte hier insgesamt keine zu hohen Erwartungen haben. Pro: Die Aussicht. Wirklich beeindruckend. Wer ein Zimmer mit Meerblick bucht, macht alles richtig. Dafür lohnt es sich definitiv. Es gab eine eigene kleine Küche, was sehr praktisch war. Der Zimmerservice war gut: täglich frische Handtücher und eine gründliche Reinigung der Zimmer. Contra: Die Parkplatzsituation ist schwierig. Es war fast nie ein Parkplatz zu finden und wenn doch, waren diese sehr eng. Am besten parkt man gegenüber……

“Perfectly ok for 1 night prior to cruise. Easy to find and easy to access using PIN code. Beware no reception in evening and NO lift. Room smelt musty and damp. Breakfast very poor. Very expensive for what you get. If I’m ever in need of a night stay in Tenerife again between north airport and cruise terminal I won’t stay here again.”

“Posto onesto e semplice. Se ti serve una camera doppia per 1/2 notti e' perfetto. Su Expedia ho trovato il prezzo più basso. La camera ha un letto comodo un appendiabiti artigianale e un tavolo pieghevole con una sedia. La finestra da sull'interno ma si può chiudere con la tenda per la privacy, ci sono due ragazze che lavorano facendo check in e pulendo le camere, onore a loro. I bagni maschili erano puliti ma serve qualche intervento di sostituzione o pulizia del telefono delle docce. Sul tetto……
