“Was very pleased with the service and price”

“Nous avons séjourné deux nuits dans cet hôtel au cadre magnifique : vue splendide sur la montagne, piscine très agréable avec ses bedpools confortables, et un personnel vraiment adorable et attentif. Cependant, trois points nous ont déçus : • Pas d’eau chaude durant tout notre séjour (3 jours). • Aucune carte indiquant les tarifs des consommations. • Une nuit particulièrement difficile à cause de voisins ayant mis la musique à fond et chanté jusqu’à 3 h du matin, malgré nos demandes répétées……

“Wow, this place was breath taking and on top of that it had such a friendly staff. This was just right outside of town and pretty easy to get a tuk tuk there and back from town. The bartender Luis took amazing care of us from start to finish and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. Our Spanish is pretty broken but the staff as a whole was always patient and understanding with us, which meant the world to us. The pool and hot tub area is the best we’ve ever seen, you……

“The location is in the downtown of the town. You can walk around the downtown thtas has shops, coffee shops and regional restaurants not fancy but excelent food. The breakfast is across the hotel and you can take different authentic "paisa" food. The hotel cozy, not fancy but the staff is amazing. As el Retiro is small town there is no Uber, only taxi from airport to the town. Outsid ethe down town you can find nice and fancy restaurantes.”

“An over-the-top experience, which even includes a petting zoo. The finca is almost a castle fortress and is remarkably beautiful. The pools are stunning. Staff was very patient with my limited Spanish.”
