“My husband enjoyed an overnight at Lighthouse Cabins. The cabin was a peaceful oasis in coastal Maine, as was Bass Harbor. Quiet, clean, well equipped , our stay was everything we hoped it would be. We would go back in a heartbeat and recommend Lighthouse cabins to anyone we know.”

“Upon checking in, my partner started to have a bad reaction to all of the fresh exposed wood in the house. Neither of us were aware she had this sensitivity. It did not affect me at all. Amanda came to the rescue and was able to transfer us to another property right on the ocean in the heart of Bar Harbor, essentially saving our vacation. I will just say that the new property was so nice, it was a step down when we finally returned home after the vacation. Amanda rocks!!!”

“Got this as a surprise for my in-laws for Christmas since they used to family vacation here. We did typical sight seeing stuff. The house was perfect to hang out at after a long day. Even on a rainy day we were able to enjoy the rain fall on the deck and stay dry. House is exactly at described. Hosts very responsive albeit we had no issues, but day off did ask for an earlier check in. We were notified as soon as it was ready for it, that was very appreciated. ”

The private beach was so nice and the home was cozy and the perfect size for us 3. It had everything we needed to make ourselves at home! A few things on the description that were inaccurate: there didn’t appear to be any laundry which wasn’t inconvenient, but it was on the listing. Also Ellsworth is not 20 minutes away, it’s more like 45....

“The property in Surry was just perfect for our use. The property is one of 3 manufactured homes on this property. The rental was clean, comfortable and perfect for the two of us. It is located on a quiet road and very drivable to many sightseeing attractions in the immediate area, Acadia NP being one of them. The AC came in handy during our stay as the weather was warm. The basic kitchen was good for us as we ate out every night. The washer and dryer were a good perk also. Overall a very good...

“Our only regret is that we didn’t get to stay longer. Everything about this place is amazing, and we hope we get the chance to book it again for our trip next summer. The guest house itself is spacious while also managing to feel incredibly cozy. The property is well kept, both inside and out. Everything was very clean, and the house had everything we needed. The shower and bed are top notch. The thing that really stood out to us was how private it is for being so close to Bar Harbor and Acadia....
