"This place was everything and then some. When we arrived there was a personalized card welcoming us. We loved the fact it had plenty of paper plates and plastic silverware because who likes doing dishes. The view every morning and evening were amazing. Loved seeing the catfish roll around in the water every evening. The area was so quit and just relaxing. The beds and sheets where the absolute best which made it hard to get up in the am. Tara and Brett were so accommodating and are the best host. "

"We stayed here for a Valentine’s fisherman’s weekend on Lake Marion, and the outdoor space is truly special. The private dock, quaint sandy beach area, and large backyard make it perfect for fishing, relaxing, and enjoying the lake. It’s a great setup for families and anyone who loves authentic lake living. The home reflects a true rustic lake house experience, with updated stainless steel appliances, an excellent shower, and one of the most comfortable mattresses. Peaceful, spacious, and true to the spirit of the lake. We would definitely check its availability again when visiting the Santee area."

"Our stay was so pleasant from the easy access to get in the contact from the property manager helping us get on the TV getting that working to the neighbors that were so pleasant and I love meeting new friends It was just an amazing stay The only thing that was real hard was the stairs on my older parents but the home is just beautiful if you can take the stairs go for it. "The kitchen was well equipped with spices and most kitchenware. The furniture and bedding was nice. There was excellent communication and the setting was lovely. The location worked for us. If we had been there in warmer weather, we would have enjoyed more of the amenities. The only negative was that the upstairs with the second bathroom and third bedroom (which we ended up not needing) was not heated. The listing says "upstairs" but doesn't make it clear that it's a separate area from the rest of the house, not on the central heat and air. It wasn't a problem for us, but anyone counting on using that room should be aware. They provide a space heater and window AC, but we didn't test them out. "
