Stayed here only because all hotels in Florence SC, our intended destination were booked. Checked in after 11PM, didn't even enter in lobby, but passed my ID through to the employee on duty, who, in turn, passed me the keys. Room was clean, and provided a place to sleep for 7 hours before leaving to continue our trip

Nice motel!!!

Very clean hotel. Super nice young man checked us in. Grocery store about 3 blocks away. Lots of restaurants around the area. Bed was very comfy. I would stay there again!

Sweet and Simple Accommodations

My stay here had an interesting start. The room I initially had was riddled with flies. I saw the sign that said any issues with the room needed to be addressed in 30 mins. Once I alerted the staff, I was given a new room, no problem! Im used to staying in 4 or 5 star accommodations but Lake City is a developing area, these accommodations are updated, but not posh. Clean, professional, and they feed you. I will be back again if I needed a hotel near Kingstree.

The property presents well, but the place was filthy. I’m big on wiping things down and expect some dust. The floors were dirty. It seemed like they had never been cleaned. There was one staff designated for cleaning the front desk person helping her. We had to buy cleaning supplies for the bathrooms and the floors. There was hair in the linens when we pulled them back. Unfortunately, it was a holiday weekend and no where for us to go. It was an uncomfortable stay for the money. The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful.

We were in Lake City to attend a funeral. There seemed to be a shortage in acceptable rooms in the area, and we were quite concerned after reading some of the other reviews. So, we booked two rooms at Quality Inn and carried our own sheets and towels. I was quite relieved when I walked into the room. The floors were tiled so no dirty carpet to worry about. The bedding was clean and the towels were quite adequate. I carry a portable blacklight flashlight for seeking out bodily fluids. I am pleased to say that I found none in either room. Breakfast (such as it was) wasn't supposed to be served until 7AM, but both days they were late in setting it up. There are plenty of other breakfast opportunities in the area. The manager was adequate meaning he did his job ...nothing more .. nothing less ... with zero personality thrown in. It mattered not to me as all I was seeking was a clean, safe place for me and my family to lay our heads while in the city. Quality Inn met that need.

Good enough for the cost; lower your expectations

This is an inexpensive hotel, so I don’t have high expectations. In general the place was clean. The room had a reasonably comfortable bed and good water pressure in the shower. Good enough for a cheap hotel. The room was clean EXCEPT for the DIRTY HANDPRINT AND FOOTPRINT ON THE BATHROOM WALL. There were not very many guests during our stay. The BREAKFAST was extremely SPARSE, as if the mgmt was trying to only put out a minimal amount of food. However, the trash cans in the breakfast area were stuffed—maybe hadn’t been emptied in many days. Some key items were missing in the breakfast area—coffee cups, waffle batter—and the “fruit” consisted of 2 apples. There was man on duty 24-7. He was not very accessible—had to ring the bell on the desk multiple times to get the missing breakfast items and to check out. When I asked for a receipt to verify that I had not been charged for incidentals, he abruptly told me that Expedia would send me a receipt. He was not pleasant nor welcoming.

The front desk guy wasn't accommodating when ask. The first room provided was an extremely disgusting order of mold and cat urine. The next room was a bit better smelling however was not very clean. Microwave plate had an thick greasy layer substance, fridge had debris and the sheets had ink looking spots. The breakfast area was not kept up on, there were not a complete continental breakfast as described. The housekeeping staff that was on duty during my stay was amazing and accomendating. She went above and beyond for me and my family wish that i can remember her name because she needs to be recognized for her get customer service.

Number 1 it was overpriced, the room wash all that the first one was half cleaned...they moved me to another ...breakfast...the cereal area wasnt clean enough for me and they had a gallon of milk which is unsanitary to me...for breakfast u only get cereal or a plain ass waffle
