“This was one of the best places I have ever stayed. The wildlife and scenery was amazing. It's very quiet and peaceful. Especially at night. All you hear is the creek. I highly recommend Whitetail Creek Resort. It's right outside of Lead so you can see all the wildlife. If you want some place out of the way it's your place.”

“Place was pretty small but ok for a couple. AC noise very loud so impossible to hear the TV or get much sleep. Blinds were warped, dirty, and missing wands. You will need a 4 wheel drive to access the property. Owner was very nice and responsive. Would recommend they fix the pathway, to the front door, as it is a tripping hazard.”

“We stay here whenever we travel through the Black Hills. The location at the bottom of a beautiful canyon is a big draw for us . The lodge itself is charming with its rustic decor yet modern amenities. The restaurant across the street (Latchstring) is super convenient and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It has great patio in the back with stream and canyon views. We recommend this lodge if you want a clean. charming place to stay with great views.”
