“Our room had a really bad smell. Room was dirty.”

“A budget friendly small room. The queen bed was more like a double, but the staff was willing to upgrade for an additional fee. The rooms are very small and there is a LOT of traffic noise, but upon our request the staff provided a fan to cover the noise. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Close by parking included, continental breakfast area was clean and sufficient. We would probably find a bigger room next time,but it worked for our needs.”

“Loved the location, just far enough away to not hear Main St, but still very convenient if wanting to walk to a local restaurant, shops, or a saloon.”

“This historic house is beautifully maintained and the rooms are very comfortable. We had the attic room which is extra large and has an amazing spa shower. The proprietors took great care to prepare a wonderful breakfast each morning. Loved our stay at 1899!”

“Booked same day as we needed it on our road trip to Yellowstone. Nice modern clean room. Comfortable beds. Easy walk up and down Main Street of Deadwood. Good breakfast. Would definitely stay here again. Parking is a little tricky but the front desk clerk explained really well where we needed to park.”
