“This historic house is beautifully maintained and the rooms are very comfortable. We had the attic room which is extra large and has an amazing spa shower. The proprietors took great care to prepare a wonderful breakfast each morning. Loved our stay at 1899!”

“I stayed there 2vyears ago and was very happy. This trip was terrible. Room was clean but the bed was lumpy and I woke first morning in pain. Remainder of my stay, I was bedridden from pain. I was going to pitch a tent but thought I'd enjoy my stay more being in a bed. Next trip going back to tent. Paid good money for a piss poor bed.”

“The rooms did not match the price. The room was very small. There was no seating chair, and the floor in the room was uneven, which made you feel unsteady on your feet, especially at night. Will not revisit.”

“The rooms were very spacious and clean. We stayed in both a lower level unit with a door to the parking lot and a balcony room, and both were above our expectations. The food onsite is great too!”
