“Beautiful cottage in an amazing setting - ideal for people who don’t want to use their cars once there! Communication with Skykes Cottages was very process heavy tho - we received so many useless emails before the booking, then during the trip there was so many different people to talk to for every problem. They took time to help. They don’t reply to WhatsApp for Hours tho they say to contact you there. Some improvements needed there to make it seamless please 🙏”

“They use an older form of key card to unlock the door. It's a swipe card, it did not swipe which ment returning to reception to get it programmed again, very inconvenient when I had 3 bags with me. Everything else was good, including the breakfast. Just one thing I don't like is taking a deposit to cover any expenses, I am always worried that they or I will forget and I don't get my money back.”

“Howfield Manor is a really lovely hotel. Quite a unique venue. The staff were so helpful. This is my second time at the hotel yesterday was for sisters Celebration of Life. We were in the marque which was beautifully laid out, the food was extremely good and the staff were very helpful. We had a lovely room which was very clean and we had a superb view of the gardens. Highly recommended.”

“The room is beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Helpful staff and was able to hire us a car to pick us up at the train station. Great breakfast and dinner, highly recommended. ”

“I did not expect that the room would be detached from the pub and there was no one in the facility overnight. I had questions about how to turn on the heat but there was no one to ask. Staff person was very nice but when she checked me in and showed me the room I didn’t know it was going to get cold.”

“Good parking facilities. Hotel is right in town which is a real bonus. Staff were helpful and friendly. We did not have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that. We went instead to a very charming cafe just for a change. Unfortunately the down side of the hotel are the rooms. We had a twin room, nice view and large. However the decor was very tired and frankly grubby. The bathroom was ok but if you tried turning round in the bath whilst having a shower you could, and I did, crack your……

“ヒーバー城とチャートウエルに行くためロンドンから来ました。駅から3分で直ぐにわかります。チェックイン、アウト、荷物回収時に受付の方が居なかったりほかの方対応で時間がかかりました。部屋は地方のせいか広く、最新の設備で気持ち良く過ごせました。朝食は六時半からでしたが七時半頃向かい、十分な品がまだありましたが無くなったものの補充はなく帰る頃には温かい品（卵・ベーコン・ポテト・マッシュルームなと）はもう片付けられていました。各々とればイングリッシュブレックファストを食べられますし、果物やヨーグルト、パンの他にマフィンやクランペットもあり、イギリスではじめて食べる機会に恵まれました。焼いてバターとはちみつで凄く美味しかった。お水も自由にペットボトルへ入れられました。ここセブンオークスはロンドンから１時間弱、宿泊が高いロンドンより日帰りでなく地方泊をオススメします。宿泊の夜はロンドンのスーパー購入の物を持ち込みました。”

“the hotel itself was great, staff were very helpful. They could do with installing double glazing in the building however, as it got quite noisy early in the morning given how close traffic / heavy lorries pass to the hotel. We were in the top floor, but were still woken up by it early doors!”
