“Clean room, welcoming atmosphere, great views and neighbourhood, ample parking on site. Only thing we didnt like was lack of hooks/ space to put wet towels or clothes and water leakage from the shower doors.”

“We booked this stay last minute when another set of plans fell through. It ended up being a fantastic decision. The grounds were beautiful, the pool was great, the food was incredible, and the rooms were very comfortable. The host was excellent, going above and beyond with everything! Honestly one of the nicest people I've come across. I would highly recommend this place.”

“Way up on the mountainside with a beautiful view of the valley and the Douro River. Valeria is a wonderful host and the place is truly something special. The beds are super comfortable, the bathrooms fantastic and she thought of every detail. ”

“Three of us stayed Tabuaco for the vineyard visit. The hotel itself is very clean and well maintained; the only main issue is that there's no elevator, so we had to draw our luggage for a couple stairs to reach the lobby and then three floors to the room. I was hoping that the room would be a bit bigger as it's a triple room. It's was in a quiet and clean neighborhood and we accidentally found a bar close by, quelha funda bar, which we love so much. The atmosphere was great and the draft beer……

Please note that the only way to get there is by car and the most convenient option is to take advantage of the dinner offered. It should be noted that there is an opportunity to taste very good local wine on site.”

“The hotel was lovely, the staff was so kind and the entire property smelled like orange blossoms from the trees next to the hotel. The provided breakfast buffet was so good and fresh and the staff also offered individual dishes as well as espressos! My only "complaint" would be that the location has very limited restaurants, like only 3 and 2 of them were closed on Mondays! Bring some snacks and you will love the hotel!”
