The hotel is pretty basic and the town itself doesn’t have a lot to offer - look elsewhere for a Douro experience unless you want to see the church stairs.”

“I was never able to get to the hotel due to road closures caused by flooding in the area. The hotel never communicated to me via any means before hand. I made multiple attempts trying to get to the hotel through different roads and all ended up being closed at a some point. The sun went down and it was very dark. We were lucky to eventually drive out of the scary dangerous roads. A refund request was denied by the hotel. While I understand the policy, I don’t understand why the hotel never……

If you have the chance to have dinner here during your stay you must, its beautiful home cooked foods. Annabelle and her mother took great care of us and made sure we were happy with our meals and would even ask us what we would want nex time.
