This is a HOME with boutique amenities like a heated towel rack, plush linens, and a view that is amazing as you lay in bed! The back porch is huge with the same river view and wildlife watching.

Fantastic Place On Kootenai River

We have stayed here several times and always enjoy our stay. The aesthetics and cleanliness of the cabin are top notch. This is the best place to stay in the Libby area.

Wonderful Tiber River Country Get a way!

Beautiful property. One of the best appointed properties I’ve rented. From the wonderful linens to the pool table to the gas grill to the efficient kitchen to the corn hole game riverside, it had everything! Super clean and the host was so gracious.

Cozy and Beautiful!

We love staying at Timber River! The hosts are AmAzing! They take pride with this vacation home that creates a comfortable environment to stay in and be cozy, or retreat in the glorious outdoors with the natural scenery of the Kootenai River in lovely backyard furnishings. Montana Visit to the Timber River Guest House

W had never been to Montana. We had planned this trip to visit our son, who recently relocated to Libby. This property, its location on the Kootenai River, and the host’s responsiveness all exceeded our expectations. The host has thought of every little detail and convenience to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. We will stay here next time we visit (hope it is available)!

Sister’s retreat

Although it was cooler than expected, we had a wonderful time together. The game room seating was great and the kitchen flowed well with multiple people cooking together. The beds were very comfortable.

Amazing!!

We travel a lot for work and stay in a lot of VRBOs. This was hands down the best!! Perfect distance from town, amazing beds, perfectly outfitted, gorgeous, so inviting and comfortable we could have stayed forever! Felt like a resort!

Hidden gem

Absolutely gorgeous view just a few feet from the river. Our family of 7 all loved the property and especially the back patio. The owners were very accomodating and friendly and helped answer and suggest items on our to do list while visiting Libby. We'll be back!

Nicest VRBO we’ve ever stayed in!!!

This property was absolutely gorgeous. The space was well laid out with basically two masters on opposite sides of the home. The furniture, bedding, fixtures, and extras were all top quality and the pool table was a bonus. The whole property was spotless and clean. We LOVED the our door fire table and enjoyed watching the bald eagles across the river. Woods highly recommend this property!!

Beautiful riverfront stay!

We loved staying here for our recent trip to Libby to visit friends and family. The Kootenai river never disappoints in its beauty! This property was perfect for enjoying morning coffee and evening wine on the patio and watching the bald eagles flying and nesting along the river bank. Everyone enjoyed our stay. Thanks so much!

Best Vacation Ever

What can I say about this home and the managers that haven't already been said. They set the high mark and are absolutely the best of the best when it comes to communication and hospitality. The house is spectacular and the location, amazing. We could have used a few more days and definitely plan to make several more visits. Honestly I wish all VRBO homes were like this. Perfection at it's very best.

River blessing

We loved this beautiful setting and amazingly outfitted/decorated rental. Our family was in town taking care of my elderly dad. I grew up on this river and was blessed by being near it during this difficult time. Thank you so much for your flexibility and excellent communication during our stay.

Over the Top!

Honestly, there was no detail missed! This owner was amazing, and everything was exactly as listed. The view is breathtaking, the location perfect, and the amenities were top notch. The only thing that would have made this better, is if we had more time here! I highly recommend this location if staying in Libby, MT!

A little slice of Heaven!

First , the location was amazing! Property is right on the Kootenai river! Our room overlooked the river, what a view to to wake up too!The inside was as nice as outside! Comfortable bed, beautifully decorated! Nice walk in shower! David and Linda didn’t miss a beat on amenities! We had a wonderful time. We can’t wait to go back!!

A Piece of Paradise!

What an excellent retreat to “re-charge” and relax at. Plenty of attractions to do in the area. Be sure to take in all the recommendations offered by the hosts to see in the area! Peaceful respite from the hustle and bustle that could be at Whitefish or Glacier. But the beautiful scenery and abundance of animals is certainly matched! Loved sitting out on the deck watching the eagles, animals, and river go by! Just perfect, and perfectly comfortable. First class, first rate!

Family wedding

I absolutely loved our stay at this riverfront property. The location was perfect for my sons who enjoyed fishing every chance they got. Linda, the host, was incredibly thoughtful, providing snacks and water upon our arrival. The layout of the house was ideal for our family, with bunk beds for the boys and separate quarters for my parents, ensuring everyone had their own space. Linda and her husband were delightful and always available to offer recommendations or assistance. My son even received some valuable fishing tips from Linda's husband. The cleanliness and comfort of the property exceeded our expectations, especially knowing that all bedding and blankets were washed between guests. We would definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The Family Trip

We had a wonderful time! I highly recommend staying here! We had everything we needed. The owners were very responsive. Everything was perfect. Thank you so much for letting us purchase/rent the second part of the house. I thought it was all included, my mistake but we were able to get the other room and bathroom for a minimal fee. We saw so many animals from our porch area, Elk, deer, eagles, turkeys up the street. Everyone was so friendly. I didn't want to leave. I am hoping to come back to Montana every year!

River Front House

This was an amazing get away. The property had everything that we needed, to include entertainment for the kids and family in the rec room. The house was very clean, everything was functional, an plenty of space for three adults and two kids. Taking full advantage of the patio is a must during breakfast, lunch and dinner. It offers beautiful views of the wildlife, mountains and the river. Libby is only a 10 min drive away if you need groceries, gas or a restaurant. The only recommendation I have is to plus up the number of plates and cups. If I recall it correctly the place can sleep 8, but there are only four plates and cups.
