He answered any questions we had about the area. The home is small but it was spacious enough for my husband and I to be comfortable. The home was clean and had everything we needed. "This is the perfect hotel to stay in before a cruise! The staff are very kind, the room was clean, and the included breakfast was a nice bonus. Highly recommend using their transportation offers too; we were picked up from FCO in an air conditioned van and brought straight to the hotel which was amazing after a very long day of traveling. It took the guess-work out of finding our way there while exhausted and was worth every euro. We also paid 5 euro each to get dropped off at the ship the next morning. Initially we were planning to walk there because we were naive about how big the port is, but then we were glad we took them up on their drop-off offer after seeing it! Thanks for the great stay, we will definitely be back next time we're in Civitavecchia! "

"This was a perfect stay! We texted the host with our arrival time and she met us at the door. Our room looked over the street and shopping below with a lovely view. The room was spotless as was the private bath across the entry hall. She gave us a cared for a wonderful restaurant nearby and chip for fee drinks! We picked this location because it was near the port, but she explained the the port was very large and the actual walk with our luggage woul be about 2km. For a very nominal fee, she transported us to our cruise ship and assisted with our luggage! When we come this way again, we would happily stay here! You need to be aware that this apartment is on the second floor (3rd floor US) but they will led a hand with luggage. "

"Check in was a bit of a challenge, especially taking all the photos of us and our passports. Plus my credit card payment for the city tax needed several attempts before it was finally processed. It was a challenge navigating the stairs to the guest house with our suitcases because the stairs were made of stone and somewhat slippery. The bedroom was very large, which was nice. But we were supposed to have a harborview and all we had was buildings and the street. The bathroom was also large but the shower was in need of a good scrubbing because of mold in the tile grout. We booked this accommodation at the last minute because our other hotel in the port was damaged in a fire. It was overpriced for what we got. I don’t think I would book this type of property again."

"If you are cruising from Civitavecchia, this hotel is ideally placed to stay before you board your ship. It is located centrally in the city with plenty of great restaurants nearby and is also close to the shuttle service from the city to the cruise terminal. The hotel is in an old building, but was very clean and comfortable. The staff made us very welcome and covered all aspects of our stay at check-in. Would certainly recommend this hotel to provide an easy time the day of your cruise departure. "

"Area very safe and close to cruise terminal. You can walk to it and Train station. The city was beautiful and safe. I felt like home at the B&B. Breakfast is your Italian style. Carbs and yogurt. Loved their cappuccino. No microwave but a fridge. The staff were so kind. Luke was our taxi driver. Ask the owner and she can reach him. It was 20 euros to cruise or train station if you got luggage and don’t want to hassle with it Oh. And the bed was awesome. The memory foam just melted to my body! Loved it. Slept in. Tv only in Italian. We were out all day living the area. Shops clothing inexpensive. Down at the waterfront great Restraunts. Salmon was delicious. "
