"The check in process, alert and bell service were top notch! The room was something that could use work! We had no Kleenex upon arrival , the floors were dirty as was our desk and chair! Cleanliness is what people remember and unfortunately that it what tarnished our stay! "

"My husband and I stayed at the Atheneum 2 nights for a concert and had a nice stay. The hotel staff were very nice and accommodating. We shuttled everywhere with the complimentary shuttle which was a great service. Our room was spacious and comfortable bed, with a nice desk for the little bit of work I needed to do. Loved having the Atheneum as our landing spot in Detroit. "

"Place was sweet! Great customer service. Gated, easy to access parking, fire pit out back. No security concerns. We got a single bed queen room which wasn't much, but we didn't need much for our stay so it was perfect for our budget. It was clean and had everything we needed. We'll definitely be back!
