Inside, the cottage is equally serene and well thought out, with lots of windows, plentiful hooks in the bathroom and a great walk in shower, as well as a clean and spacious kitchen and living room. "The staff here were friendly, the location central and the room clean and spacious. It is good value for money. A good, quiet fan was provided to help with the heat, but it was a shame they had to limit the opening of the window. Why can't guests decide how far they'd like the opening? We're not all suicidal or with children. It is good value for money. We found the breakfasts to have plenty of choice and options, but the evening selection and skill of cooking to be rather lacking, e.g. asked for a steak to be medium rare, but it arrived well done. The omelette at breakfast overdone so much it was like rubber."

Not so pleased to have to pay for parking, but I understand that it is near some sort of conference centre, so I imagine it is due to that. Had to book a slot for the swimming pool in the morning, but when I got there I was the only one in there so that felt a bit pointless; also, when I got there, there was no one at the desk in the health centre to check me in, so I had to find a towel myself and make my own way in."
