History was ģreat, learned a lot of new things about the founding fathers.

The suites( they are more than rooms) are marvelous. Quiet, great views and one of the most comfortable beds ever. The bathroom was also very nice, and the floor is heated. Couple that with butlered coffee and beignets each morning, and you’vr Got s high standard to beat

Breakfast was very nice and the room was clean and comfortable.

Comfortable stay, friendly staff!

Casey is a remarkable host, delivering with her family, a very high quality experience! No amenity was overlooked. The property is in excellent condition; the grounds and setting, interesting and historical; the breakfast scrumptious and memorable; and the nearby downtown city of Orange afforded very good restaurant access. Simply, the best B & B experience we have had the pleasure to enjoy, thanks to Casey's and fam's effort!

We came up to the lodge at Big Medows in Shenandoah National Park in order to view the Perseid Meteor shower. The lodge and the food were wonderful and the meteor shower was out of this world.

There aren't many places that can comfortably accomodate a party of 6 (ages toddler through adult) while including a list of activities and amenities for under $200 a night. Our 2 bedroom/1 bath cabin was well appointed with a eat in kitchen where we cooked quite a few meals, gas grill/picnic table on the deck, queen bed/tv in one room, 2 twin beds in the other, pull-out sofa in the den. Took advantage mini-golf, pool/sauna/splash park area (towel service a...
