It was grand for just one night. It was centrally located - in an annex of the hotel where the reception was. The view was of the overgrown yard space. You are paying to stay on Mont Saint Michel not for luxurious surroundings. Breakfast was at a nearby restaurant and was good and plentiful. Parking was a mystery - we were told to go to a hotel on the mainland to get instructions about our hotel location but no advice was given about how to access the mainland hotel parking area where you need a code for the barrier to lift. They did not answer the phone. Do bring water for your hotel room as there is none available. The hotel is very clean, modern, and well presented throughout. The rooms have some great design touches, especially the lighting and the bathroom mirror, which give it a stylish feel. The shower was excellent and the towels were soft and high quality. The bed was also very comfortable, making it easy to get a great night’s sleep. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful during my stay, which always makes a big difference. Another big plus is the parking — plenty of space and very convenient, especially if you’re travelling by car. Overall a great place to stay when visiting Honfleur."
