The room was filthy, especially by the window. The tv was broken and when we were packing up to leave there were a couple of bugs in the room. The first sign to leave was at check in when there were firefighters investigating the gas smell that was taking over the lobby. It was 2:34 pm. She was condescending and rude. The rooms were ready. The room itself has dim lights, a torn curtain, a phone that was broken, and stains on the bathroom walls that I care not to think about. It smelled like rotten food when you walked in the front doors. Everything from floors, counters, and public spaces were dirty and were not maintained. The smoke detector battery was beeping in the middle of the night. We called the front desk, they had no replacement batteries, and asked what they were supposed to do. We informed them we couldn’t sleep with the noise. A guy came and ripped it off of the ceiling. It wasn’t replaced or fixed for the next 2 days we were there. The spa was broken and they said it had been like that for a while. There were old dirty and crusty socks in the gym. It was obvious they don’t clean or maintain anything.
