I was in the area for Alligator Festival.Surprisingly the hotel room was very clean. The staff was nice and pleasant. They allowed early check in and accommodated my room location request . I would definitely recommend for the price.

The motel was nice, a little outdated, could use better beds, had to ask for towels. Pool was warm and cloudy but we were about to swim. Other then that it was good. We would stay again.

Nice motel, room was neat but not clean (please check and clean also under nightstands)! Area is a bit noisy, railroadtrack nearby, trains blow the horn muliple times in the night. Service is limited, even no breakfast coffee in the morning. Nevertheless Staff was polite and professional ;-)

Very happy we chose to continue our stay at this great location. My husband’s job is taking way longer than we anticipated, so we have been here a couple weeks now. So our short stay has turned into a much longer one. This location and their staff have been extremely accommodating, especially with our dog who is over 100 pounds. Most other hotels or motels, turn their nose up at us, just because of the size of our well-behaved but super large dog, but this place has been extremely hospitable. We were here during hurricane Francine, only lost power for a half a day. And the staff came around to check on all of us once the storm was over, which was very nice and considerate. Great place can’t say enough wonderful things.

This motel was relatively clean. Check in was unimpressive. The common area was locked and appeared to be used for storage. The reception was not friendly. The room was decorated nicely but it was damp and uncomfortable. The shower was really nice though. There were some scary people around the area. I would not stay here again.

Pros- cheap and cold AC! Located roughly 30 mins outside of NOLA, so that was convenient! Staff was also friendly at front desk. Cons- Dirty. We found dead bugs on the floor. You get 2 flat pillows per bed, and a minimal amount of towels. House keeping did come in while we were gone and grabbed our dirty towels but didn’t replace them. Also half the outlets didn’t work. We had to unplug lamps to be able to charge phones. Would I stay here again? Probably not. But for the price I paid am I overly disappointed? Not necessarily, you get what you paid for. Just be aware it’s not top tier accommodations.

Good off the main path hotel

Only stayed one night but the room was spacious and clean. Would probably stay here again due to its relatively closeness to NOLA.
