"The standard of the room far exceeded my expectations based on such a reasonable price we paid for a 1 night stay. Breakfast was included and the variety on offer was another pleasant surprise. Also, the lady who cooked us an omelette was lovely!"

"The place is unique, every room is decorated with style and attention to detail. The staff was wonderful, even prepared us some sandwiches because we had to leave so early and couldn’t join for breakfast. We are very happy to have found the place and hope that many others will also enjoy their stays there."

"This is a family owned and operated hotel that provides the quality and service of five star stay.
The hotel and room size are appropriate for the area, but the lavishness of the bedding, the confines all say luxury and exceptionally clean. This is an incredible find of a high value hotel in room close to where you wanna be. You can walk to Saint Peter’s pool and the Bay"

"Sunrise Lodge is beautifully maintained and the team especially James could not be more friendly and welcoming.
Breakfast was cooked to order each morning and delicious.

"Room was clean, updated, comfortable bedding.
it was a bit musty, understandable due to age of the building.
Breakfast was a disappointment. Not a buffet, if you do not like it...tough... extra cup of coffee for additional money. Service is mediocre."

"Hotel is in a great location for everything in Valletta and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast offer consists of a very light and fresh buffet with a hot food menu - we sampled everything on hot food over our weeks stay and were impressed with taste and presentation every time. The staff couldn’t do enough to help. Best restaurant we ate in was iL Horza a 3 minute walk from hotel - small and personal with amazing local food but served to 5star standard with a fab wine menu.
Our favourite trip was taking the traditional boat 3 € over to 3 cities - you can walk round the fort then take a little open air bus around 6€ which is great way to see the cities - great holiday great hotel 👍"
"Clean hotel, pretty good location & gym/indoor pool were nice. Staff very friendly too. Breakfast wasn't up to much, your usual buffet selection but pretty much all of poor quality when compared to a Holiday Inn or similar."
"Ideally located!! Would like to personally thank Franklin at the front desk and Kalyan at the bar counter for really being helpful and super courteous!! Wish the Seed restaurant had a greater choice in their menu options is all I wanted to see more. "
"The facilities are great and the staff are wonderful. Nice deluxe room, spacious with nice balcony. Some of the outer areas are in need of a spruce but the main hotel and pool areas are very good condition. On balance, probs not a 5 star but the staff definitely make up for it and if anything is wrong, they will sort it immediately."
"Our room was super clean and well equipped. We booked a studio room for 3 adults but found it a little on the small size for us, however we managed. What can i say about the staff...absolutely fabulous and just couldnt do enough to help. Made our trip so much easier "
Cavalieri Hotel Malta, a member of Radisson Individuals
6/10 Okay
"Dining room staff friendly and helpful. Rep less so. Could do with a spruce up and I questioned how room service worked with no phone in the room. Shower screen didn’t fit over bath so was hard to shower without flooding the bathroom. Very squeaky bathroom door. Good location though & nice bar area. Food ok but not much variety. For a Radisson in a country where you can’t drink the tap water I would have expected drinking water to be provided for free in the room. Fine overall but nothing special. "
"Sadly building hotels next door without prior notification when booking. The hotel was very dated and all needed modernising especially our room. The area was a disappointment ok if your on a stag/hen do ect.
Malta im sure was a beautiful country years ago but now all you see is cranes. So much building work everywhere.we didnt venture to gozo as on a short break ....maybe that was better? We were totally disappointed with malta and wish we hadnt gone ."
