“Apartment itself wasn't bad but the stairwell to get to the apartment had a few dead roaches lying around that weren't cleaned up until the 4th day of our stay. Also, there was a problem with water collecting at just upon entering the apartment of the floor which was a slip hazard. The water remained present throughout our stay. There was mold on the wall in the entrance hallway probably related to the standing water. Lastly we weren't to thrilled to find a roach in the walk in shower on the……

“The apartment was extremely clean and felt completely brand new. The self check-in was very easy with secure code access. The location is perfect. just one minute from the beach and close to all shops and restaurants. Also communication with the owner was smooth and very helpful. A special thank you to Monika for kindly allowing us a late check-out until 1pm — we really appreciated it. ”

While the outside of the building is not very attractive, the apartment itself was surprisingly nice — very clean, tidy, and well equipped. The location is excellent, with easy access to the beach, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, and Malta’s National Aquarium. Communication with the host was great via Expedia’s message portal. Howard and Audrey are lovely, responsive, and very genuinely wanting us to enjoy ourselves and checking that we were comfortable and settled in. This flat is a true gem, and I will absolutely return.
