Rustic Lakeside Cabin

The rustic cabin experience awaits at Long Lake in Makinen, MN! This property offers dock access to the west bay of the lake, outdoor fire ring, and an outhouse. This open cabin features a ladder to lofted sleeping areas. Bring your kayaks/canoes and fishing poles, this lake is perfect for paddling. There is public access at the opposite end of Long Lake for motorized boats. The lake is 374 acres and offers seven miles of shoreline!
As a primitive cabin, there is no electricity or internet available. Solar lights inside cabin. This is a dry cabin, there is no water or plumbing onsite. Bring your own water for drinking, dishwashing, etc. There is a propane cooking stove inside the cabin for use as well as a gas grill (propane provided) & Weber grill outside (charcoal not provided). 15 minutes to the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame in Eveleth.
