"Probably the best hotel I’ve stayed in and my partner agrees too. Staff everywhere were great especially at check in desk. We only needed 2 nights as we were stuck in Male following a last minute flight cancellation. The room was great, ocean view room, it was big, clean, quiet and had everything in it you need, bed was massive and comfy. Hotel had a few different restaurants which served great food, the breakfast buffet was probably the best breakfast I’ve had in a hotel. Rooftop pool was lovely with a snack bar for food and drinks, plenty of sun beds and places to sit/lie down. Free airport shuttle too and a well-equipped gym. There was a convenient 24-hour supermarket around the corner. Just all round such a nice hotel and could have stayed longer."

"Airport pick-up was really efficient as was check-in. All staff in the hotel were very friendly, professional and helpful. Room had everything that you need for a stop over - TV, minibar, aircon. The room, bed and duvet were on the small side. It was very loud outside throughout the night, however part of this was due to the extra prayer calls during Ramadan. The rooftop restaurant had very good food and very good service, for a very affordable price. "

"Great for family resort with variety of great food in the all inclusive package. Lots of activities to keep you busy throughout the day. Open up late bar compare to other resorts, lots of shows, games and things to do. The only thing that i did not like was the minimum of 6 people for the excursions, snorkeling and fishing (they canceled ours cause there was not enough ppl, apparently everyone was at the pool 360 bar drinking lol). Overall we had a great time and would definitely go back again. Thank you to all the bartenders they were great. Ooo and i forgot to mention the underwater restaurant Only Blue, staff was amazing, food was awesome and the atmosphere was at a top level. Thank you "

"I stayed in two rooms first quite cosy but very clean TV above bathroom foot is silly. 2nd room larger again very clean. Staff very friendly, airport pickup went smoothly. Breakfast adequate but would like yoghurt ( personal taste) room service good. "

"When booking property, no information that the fitness centre was at least a 7-10 min walk away and that it is closed on friday as well as only 12-12 on saturday when i checked out. I chose The Somerset precisely because of the fitness centre, but it was disappointing I could not use it at all. Brandon"

"Amazing staff who are super accomodating. Our departure flights were cancelled due to Middle east conflict which resulted in us having to switch from our resort to the JEN until new flight was available. Their staff met us at the boat dock, escorted us through the airport, and drove us to the hotel. Exellent hospitality. Front desk rep Aisha was outstanding! She took us to our deluxe room and showed us the exec room we had booked for the next day. She went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and informed about all of our options to accommodate our mobility concerns. I hope you can recognize Aisha with an award. It is really hard to find people who really go the extra mile for their clients. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend."

"The island is smaller than you expect from the pictures and island map and overall it feels outdated. The staff didnt seem very happy, which reflects in the level of service. Im happy we only stayed for three days. Most restaurants have zero ambiance. Only thing top quality and high level of service was the breakfast restaurant female staff (very welcoming) and sea salt restaurant. Quality of food is great in Sea Salt, be sure to book dinner there."
