The common kitchen area have windows therefore the room is tagged with "city view". Which we found very disappointing. Do not go with this option unless you're comfortable without any window. "Good: Comfortable bed, helpful and kind staff, all advertised amenities and more (a plug converter), good signage, close to shops. Not that good: The sprayers of the soap and shampoo bottles were too tight, not suitable for those liquids. The room smells humid when no air-conditioning, location is far from jetties, but as Male is a small island, it's not that big of a deal."

"Clean room with a cosy breakfast and kind staff in the heart of Male - walkable to many areas around the old part of the city and very close to the airport! The airport transfer included in the price of the room was great - kind staff and accommodating for the last minute changes in flight times. The only issue was that we stayed on the second floor and the rooms were not very well insulated and we could hear the noise from the road "

"WOW, one of the best hotels i have been to in the Maldives! Super clean rooms , beach studio is awesome with a private beach. Lots of things to do compare to anywhere else, variety of restaurants 15 different cuisines, hookah lounge, small markets, even a smoke shop and a disco. Few pools with bars, music and entertainment day and night. Our housekeeper was great and helpful, front desk people are awesome, the Russian lady helped us and extended our check out since our flight is at night (Thank you and no additional charge). I would definitely come back to Hard Rock resort next time we are in the Maldives. Great experience, thank you all . The only thing that i did not like was the service in that ne of the restaurants which was a 3th party and not part of the resort, Tappanyaki place called Blue something, servers deff need some training ( thanks to our table chef we were able to order drinks finally he was awesome though and food was outstanding). Anyways thank you all! "
