"The bed is comfortable and clean. The room is very spacious and a plus is there is a refrigerator. Also, lots of restaurants and a grocery store walking distance. I think the only down side is there is no elevator. This is my 3rd stay here, I will be booking again on our next visit since its right next door to ucla calabasas, which is very convenient for my daughter's doctors appointment. "

"Wish they had king beds. The towels were the most luxurious I've ever had in a hotel. The real glasses and mugs was nice instead of plastic cups that I encountered elsewhere nearby. "

"We chose this home largely due to there being a bedroom & full bathroom on the ground level of the home, as we were celebrating my mother in laws 84th birthday and didn’t want her to have to climb many stairs. The home was well kept & beautifully decorated with different art pieces & decor that we really enjoyed. There is a “music room” where they so graciously allow guests to use their piano & guitars. There was also a little table in there where we played chess while others attempted to explore their inner musician. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all of the cookware that we needed, the grill is hooked to the gas for the house (so no need to worry about running out of propane), and the wine chiller & wet bar were well stocked! We enjoyed a bottle of their wine & replaced it with one of ours. The large TV’s are ready to go with Disney & Netflix, with guest accounts available for use. This was great in the evening for some chill time for the younger kids that were tired from a full day. The view is simply beautiful and AMAZING! There is a large main level deck with plenty of seating, and a second level deck accessible from the master & 2nd master. I cannot emphasize the views you have at this home. The beach was perfect and sandy and we spent hours enjoying it. We went out early in the morning during low tide to check out the tide pools, which was fun as well. We would love to go back again!! "

"Three generations of our family stayed in this beautiful home while we celebrated a family wedding nearby. The winding drive up the mountain is not for the faint of heart, but worth it to see the amazing view of the bay!The home was clean, well-stocked, comfortable, and the onsite property manager very friendly and attentive. "Although all of us worked remotely during our stay, we could not avoid the wonderful, relaxed vibe of Malibu and our little cottage. We felt transported and loved the neighborhood. Literally, minutes away from Malibu Country Mart by car (which has fun shopping, restaurants and a Whole Foods). We visited Paradise Cove and the Bluffs Park and loved it all. The cottage is clean and we felt very happy with our stay. "

"Absolutely loved the location. Being on Malibu Road makes it easy to come and go on a mellow street. The view is amazing, the deck is literally over the water at high tide and at low tide you can walk all the way to the Malibu Pier. We saw dolphins swimming by everyday. I’m a runner and so it was nice to just go out the door and run on Malibu Road. The location to restaurants and shopping is ideal. "

"Our very good friend drove from Iowa to meet us at this little slice of paradise. We stayed in the guest house and the accommodations were absolutely perfect. As good as the inside was the outside was over the top- from amazing views, crystal clear pool, and the large fire pit. Jack took amazing care of and had some great stories. "This is the perfect location to visit Malibu. The beachfront property and beach access is fabulous, definitely outweighs some oversights. Our biggest issue was when we arrived, the heat was on and the inside temp was 79 degrees while outside it was almost 90 degrees. We were slowly able to cool it down after 24 hours, but that was not the best way to start our stay. It has the makings of a great property, just needs some TLC and extra attention to small details (there was no salt and pepper, could use a nice freshening up, etc.) "
