“Easy check in with pleasant staff. Room was clean, tidy and spacious. This is a pretty new building by the look of it! Room was nice and warm (especially nice as it was a very cold day). Bed was comfortable with clean and high quality linen. Bathroom super clean with plenty of hot, high pressure water in the shower. Ate in the pub part for evening meal and breakfast next day. Food was excellent and decent value for money. Service was good and timely at all times, food was fresh and……

“The room was lovely and clean plus they had put heating on which was a bonus on wet cold day. Disappointed the shower in our room would not work so had to use the bath not ideal when you like a morning shower. Very nice room not in main building but lovely Christmas wreath on door , Dyson hairdryer and room fan plus lovely selection of teas coffee and hot chocolate available. Only gripe is the pillows they are fluffy feather ones and are useless in my opinion. Had a meal in restaurant it was……

“THE BREAKFAST WAS SUPERB A FULL ENGLISH WITH TOAST AND JAM, JUICE COFFEE/TEA CEREAL. THE EVENING MEAL WAS "HUGE" TWO MASSIVE SLICES OF GAMMON WITH SKIN ON FRIES TWO EGGS AND SALAD. WELL IMPRESSED. THE ROOM WAS SPOTLESS "WE WERE UPGRADED TO A LARGE DOUBLE" AND TEA/COFFEE LAID ON WAS A NICE TOUCH. THE OWNERS WERE REALLY NICE, AND INTRODUCED THEMSELVES TO US APOLOGIZING FOR THE WORKMEN WORKING ON THEIR ALARM SYSTEM. WE READ THAT SOME OTHERS GUESTS HAD COMPLAINED OF THE ROAD NOISE, BUT WE COULDN'T……
