“I had a great short trip at the Holiday Inn Express in Port Huron. There was a last minute change to our reservation, and the lovely front desk associate was able to adjust our room and give us a beautiful view of the river. The hotel was recently renovated and very clean. There were little amenities in the bathroom, but very easily accessible if you call down to the front desk. Breakfast was very standard - not the best continental I've had but it was sufficient. I would stay here again!”

“The check-in process is very combursome and confusing. The lockbox next to the fire extinguisher doesn't make sense when there are multiple fire extinguishers on site. If you advertise a sofa sleeper it should be made up or at the very least there should be sheets, pillows and blankets inside the unit. Fortunately, the Days in Staff was very helpful. ”

“Fully equipped kitchen, lots of sleeping space, spotlessly clean, and the location—right on the river! The freighters never stopped coming and were so close you could practically touch them!!”

“Loved that placed! Our daughter said if she decides to stay in Michigan for the summer she would want to rent that place full time. It was very clean. The air worked great. There was a washer and dryer to use. Convenient location. We really enjoyed our stay and will go back again!”

“The Quality Inn at Port Huron was terrible. The property was not maintained. Weeds everywhere. When I went to check in there was a motorbike inside in the front door. I could barely get in. No one was a the front desk. The desk clerk came in from outside smelling of weed. Checked me in. We were in a hurry because we were attending a wedding. When we arrived back later in the evening our room smelled of stale smoke. Cigarette butts were on the floor. We always request a non smoking……

“its a great historic house with a large living space. Everything is updated. walking distance to downtown and the river. We were in town for a funeral and visiting relatives so we only used the house for sleeping, showering and getting dressed. the house was clean and well stocked with towels and everything we needed. I would stay there again.”
