“Excellent stay! The pool and hot tub was down for maintenance but that was not something we were looking to enjoy. The rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable and the hot breakfast was delicious and the options were more than we expected. The best part was the shower and how powerful the water pressure was! “This was a nice hotel at one time. Not long ago. We stayed on a Friday night and there were only 10 cars in the parking lot. It’s my belief that this hotel needs an upgrade, but simply can’t afford it. It’s such a great location in Port Huron, close to all the wonderful amenities, this town offers, but… the room was dated, the bath mat was stained, the carpet was stained, and the staff was kind but definitely new and inexperienced with dealing with a public. There was a very heavy, musty smell……
