Like others have mentioned, having our own washer and dryer was a big plus — we brought a couple of single-use detergent boxes from home, which worked out perfectly.We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a different unit, which came with both a screened-in porch and an open-air deck — great to have options depending on the weather (and the sand flies!). Some of our favorite moments were spent sitting outside after sundown, stargazing under the clear Andros sky.The location was ideal for exploring both the north and south parts of the island. We went during a quieter season, so some places were closed, but we ended up enjoying several meals at Brigadier’s — generous portions, good drinks, and very friendly service. There's also a nearby convenience store that’s surprisingly well-stocked; in hindsight, we would have checked there first for basic groceries.All in all, a peaceful and well-located stay with great hospitality.
