Pretty basic older motor lodge. Clerk was a little hard to communicate with but was finally able to get him to check and correct the tv signal which had to be reset. Room was fairly clean and bug free.

I tell ya, South Texas isn't exactly known for their beaches. However, Rockport Beach is quite lovely, with a long sandbar and not overly crowded. Nice place for a peaceful getaway!
