Dishwasher was not working, someone came in right away and fixed it.Cleanliness 6/10\. At first glance it was bright and clean however it was a bit dusty and could have used a dust and mop throughout. Rug in the living room needs to be professionally cleaned or replaced, couches need to be cleaned. Checkout 0/10\. We left the unit at 10:45 and found out that only 2 out of 6 elevators were working, right at checkout time. We waited for the elevator for about ONE HOUR and finally gave up and took the stairs 18 FLOORS down to the lobby carrying all of our luggage. That is unacceptable. What if it was someone in a wheelchair? The renters said the building was out of their control, I can understand that but it is still unforgivable that a 48 story building would have this kind of issue. Very disappointed. We arrived a little early and they let us check in early which was nice. When we walked in the rug and bed sheets were still dirty but as soon as we asked for it to be cleaned they did. Clock on the wall didn’t work.. kind of annoying but not a deal breaker. Furniture is a little run down and needs a paint job….you can tell it’s a rental but still nice. Being on the 18th floor we could hear a lot of street noise … cars speeding/ honking all day and all night and music from the restaurant/club one night. We were still able to sleep though. Location was great… we did not need a car and could walk everywhere to shop or to eat or to get snacks/water at Whole Foods. Beds were on the softer side but super comfy!! Not far from downtown it seemed pretty central to everything. Second, once we did finally get access to the FOB keys, they weren’t charged so we had to deal with security. Third, the wifi was not functioning. Lastly, I had already put my card down prior to arriving to the property and I was under the impression that it was going to get charged. When I got there, they made me swipe a card. I was confused because I thought my card was already going to get charged. My daughter had to do some remote work and the dining room was a wonderful place for her to work. The bedrooms were both comfortable.
