"We loved our stay at this property. We lucked out with getting one of the 4 parking spots close to the hotel, otherwise it wouldn’t have been convenient, especially as it rained during our stay. The Celebration room was spacious, clean and loved the high ceilings. We only stayed for I night so didn’t use the shower/tub but we thought we wouldn’t really enjoy the shower as it was hand held and the shower curtain would wrap around you in the oval tub. If you like baths it would be perfect. We love Stratford and this is a fabulous place to stay! Only other tip was don’t go on a Monday night as so many places are closed."

"Beautiful clean little hotel with character. We heard no noise in our room from the outside world or other rooms (even being right by the elevator) our bed was comfortable, and the temperature of the room was great. Only about a 10 minute walk from the main strip and a 5 minute walk from Avon theatre. Will definitely be back."

"The room was super clean and charming. The location to the theaters was perfect. I paid for two nights but only stayed one. The room was too hot. When the AC was turned on, it blew directly on my head while in bed. After putting my head at the foot of the bed I was able to get more comfortable. Outside of the window was a street light. While the foot traffic came to an end early, the diesel trucks did not. I could hear the trucks well into the early morning hours. I had to check to make sure the window was shut. I could hear everything through the window. Maybe it wasn’t sealed properly? Apple Watch said I got three hours of sleep. Miserable. I left after my play on Monday. Didn’t stay Monday night and missed a play on Tuesday. There was no one on the property to talk with. Ok if you’re not a light sleeper. Not sure how the other rooms are. Mine was “The Room”. Also- parking is not near the hotel and I could not access the back entry door, just the one in the front of the building."

"The room was great. At first driving in I was not impressed. Staff was great. We got in the room and it was good. We really liked it and it was clean."

"Excessive noise outside and inside property. Only basic channels on TV. Do not book if you’re looking for peaceful and relaxing weekend."

"The staff was not there when we arrived, they were grocery shopping. The tv didn’t work. The room was nice and very good and clean. The staff was not at the desk in morning either."

"I had a Cozy room on the second floor and stayed for one night by myself. Overall, this was a pleasant stay, but I have docked one star due to some minor disappointments. The bathroom is extremely small. You had to be seated diagonally to use the toilet due to a column in front of it. Further, the water pressure was unpredictable when I was using it (mostly at night). Shower water pressure would vary, sometimes slowing to a mere dribble, but it would eventually come back up to normal pressure. This goes for the sink and toilet as well. I imagine noise would also be a concern for guests - you can easily hear neighbours stomp through the hallway and slam their doors. This did not make too much of an impact on me since there weren't a lot of people around during my stay, but I imagine Festival Season may be difficult with all the guests. That said, these points were largely overshadowed by the positives. The location was great - 10 minutes away from the bus station, minutes away from the main theatres (Festival is a pleasant 20 minute walk alongside the river), and a few steps away from the main shops and eateries. Check-in/out was seamless with all the codes provided on time. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. There is complimentary tea and coffee (Nespresso machine) as well as an electric kettle. It also had a useful mini fridge to house leftover dinner. Overall a great experience considering my circumstances (solo, off-season, and a one-night stay). "

"The hotel reeka of tradition and old time comforts. But the bed was modern superfoam. Many like this, I detest timing a mattress. I didn't ask, maybe there's a choice of mattress types... I doubt it Other than that, aside from the small nature of everything, and tight turns and corners...it's a very good hotel.."
