From the moment we stepped through the door, the front desk ladies made us feel completely welcome. They were incredibly nice, helpful, and genuinely awesome. The room itself was wonderful: spacious, very clean, and perfect for an extended stay with a fully equipped kitchen and a super comfy bed. The area around the hotel feels safe and convenient, and even the other guests we met were friendly. Parking was also very easy, which made everything even better. Breakfast was a great start to each morning, with hot options like potatoes, scrambled eggs, sausage, and of course 2 waffle makers. Overall, an awesome experience. The suite was generous in size, the facility was up to date, the breakfast was very good. Day 2- while we were out housekeeping had cleaned room and made the effort to address the smell, it had faded some but came back after a few hours. Day 3- we bought some febreze air deodorizer, we sprayed a couple of times each of the remaining days we were there until smell was acceptable. Day 3- air conditioning was malfunctioning and blowing air that got no cooler than a humid 79 degrees. I brought both the smell and ac problem up with management, she stated that she would be glad to move us to another room, but by this time we only had less than a day left in our stay and we had several suitcases of clothing and miscellaneous, and did not think it would be the efficient thing to do at the time. They also said that they would send the maintenance team to take a look at the AC, that maybe it had frozen over, but no one ever showed up. The morning we left the ac started working in its own, and my wife and I were able to do what staff could not, which was neutralize the odor. Front desk staff was perfectly nice and apologized. The following day there was no hot water left to take a full shower.
