Riverfront Home, close to beach and restaurants

This vintage riverfront home is located on the banks of the beautiful Russian River. Riverside Hideaway is a guest cottage located downstairs from the main house on the property. There is a private entrance, private covered porch w/gas BBQ overlooking the river and sunny partially fenced yard. River access is by stairs to dock. TOT #725N

The living room features a free standing gas fireplace, wood floors, full size sofa bed and entertainment center with cable TV. Bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds (queen size) (including extra down comforters) and TV in master bedroom. Bathroom is Jack and Jill style with stall shower. Kitchen has been remodeled and has newer maple cabinets, granite countertops, refrigerator, gas range and microwave. More photos available upon request. Kayaks can be available upon request.

This home is within walking distance to downtown Monte Rio, grocery store, public beach, boat rentals, movie theater, tennis courts and restaurants. Northwood Golf Course is apx. one mile away. The Pacific Coast (Jenner) is within a 15 minute drive. Guerneville is 5 miles east. We are located within a short driving distance to many Sonoma County wineries. Quaint Occidental is 10 minutes away.

Beautiful setting..wonderful stay!

The location, our sweet host Kim and the weather all came together to create a perfect weekend for my birthday.The apartment is well decorated,clean and met our needs as a family of four. Would definitely recommend it!

Cozy spot on the river

We enjoyed our stay at the house. it was as advertised, clean cozy and on the river with direct access. The restaurants down the street have good food and great service.

Great place

Totally worth it to stay here. Place is very cute. While the bathroom is small and the houses are close together, the big bedrooms and well appointed kitchen are great. Sitting on the back deck and using the kayaks right from the dock were our favorite parts.

Fun on the River

Very clean and well maintained property. Great to have access to two kayaks and a canoe. Walking distance to the beach and town and the fun Boho Manor. We hope to return!

Cute Spot

Cozy little spot. Highlights are the coved deck that overlooks the river and two kayaks and a canoe, which we took advantage of. The dock was small but nice. Would stay here again.

Relaxing Getaway

This was my second visit to the home and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Accommodations were clean, covered patio overlooking the river was peaceful and relaxing, and the home was centrally located in Russian River on a very quiet street. I’m looking forward to a return visit in the future.

River Hideaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the River Hideway. Location is easily accessible to the river, many wineries and the coast. The house was very clean and well stocked. We loved sitting on the back deck in the mornings and evenings. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Fun with family

A Real Find

Kim’s place was wonderful and a real find on the Russian River. The unit was spotless, comfortable, and well equipped with a good kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining, a dock on the river and access to a canoe and kayak. It’s in a quiet area, but within a short drive to Guerneville shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. We would definitely stay there the next time we’re in the area.

Family Wedding

Very nice cottage! Front and back yards are beautiful as is the view of the Russian River. 2 nice size bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, super rear deck surrounded by giant redwoods. And, this area is very close to some awesome scenery - from an easy, leisurely drive along the Pacific coast to the Redwood forest and many Sonoma wineries. We had a wonderful time! Bill and Christy

Perfection on the River

This is the perfect home for a get away in the redwoods. The location and views are breathtaking and Kim the owner was a delight. The landscaping is beautifully done with multiple terraces down to the river. All you need is a cup of coffee or glass of wine while you sit and take in the beauty of it all. We most certainly will be back. Thank you Kim for providing all of us an opportunity to enjoy!

Better than I could have Imagined

Two adults, a teenager and a tween set out on a journey to the Russian River. What we received at this property was a dream come true. Great dock, access to kayaks and canoes, impeccably clean and comfortable living and bedroom areas, and exactly what we needed. Walkable to a basketball court, movie theater, park, and grocery store. Kimberlee, as host, was the best - kind and helpful - and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Hoping to make this an annual trip!!

Great birthday getaway

This was a cute home and a great place to relax. I came with my mom to celebrate my birthday. It was great to have that quality time together. I thought the description of the place said we'd be staying on the ground floor. So, I was surprised when we had to climb a flight of stairs to get to our place. My mom is 89 years old, and was able to make it, but it was tiring for her. Overall, it was a nice and relaxing getaway weekend for both of us.

Lovely Gem

We very much enjoyed our weekend stay at this riverside hideaway. For the price, the unit is very large (bathroom is a bit small, but not unmanageable at all) and most importantly, very well appointed (unlike many other places we have stayed.) The only wobble is that trying to figure out if we'd successfully turned the gas fired stove off was a little bit challenging - hopefully we managed it. Other than that, 2 thumbs up. Highly recommended, and hope to be able to stay there again the next time we head to the Russian River!

Just wonderful!

Will be back during season to use dock and kayaks. House, deck and yards were beautiful and clean. We all slept well in this cozy house and gathering in the kitchen felt homey. Kim was an absolute ideal host; easily reached and responsive to every little question. She even offered to show us the beach nearby where we launched our kayaks! The neighborhood is so sweet; a nice location close to shopping and sights. Bonus was walking distance to beach, a little fro y store and a restaurant with live music. I usually stay in Guerneville, but this booking locks in Monte Rio for many future getaways from the City. Loved being there!

Excellent Stay

Wow! The reviews were correct in stating that the pics don't do it justice. The cottage was adorable, cozy, and didn't need the living room to be big. This is the smallest room, but sure didnt care. The kitchen and two bedrooms were spacious and that's all we really needed when spending so much time outdoors. The deck, patio, and the dock were beautiful because of the spectacular river view. We got to enjoy the warm August weather on the kayaks and the canoe. It was also so cool that the beach was so close by. We couldnt have asked for a better stay! We kayaked, went t the two nearby beaches, and drive the short distance to Jenner and Bodega Bay. What an awesome location!
