The driveways are very steep, much steeper than the pictures make them look. 4wd or AWD would be best during the wet season for sure. There are plenty of extra towels and linens and the hot tub was amazing. Kitchen had everything we needed and was comfy to cook and share meals at. The views from all the windows are gorgeous just trees forever. The fireplace was comfy and there was cool books to look at as well as tons of board games we played. The house is stocked with chairs and wagons and things to take to the river. It felt like there were a lot of things we could use which I really appreciated!Cons: The top floor and bottom floor are not connected so for a group that you want to share space with that was a little awkward but could be great if you want more privacy The downstairs unit has a full bathroom so that was nice. The upper driveway is incredibly steep and has some dips at the bottom making it hard for cars with FWD and/or low clearance. One of my friends actually got fully stuck trying to leave and we had to have a tow truck come to get us out. The driveway at the bottom of the hill has gravel but the rocks are big and loose so I couldn’t get my car up the driveway (I have a SUV with a lot of clearance but not 4WD)We made it work but it seems like this spot might be best for bigger trucks and SUVs with 4WD/AWD and a lot of clearance. The cabin gives off an 'old cozy' feel and is definitely secluded. The driveway is VERY STEEP and was a fun adventure getting up. There were plenty of board games/puzzles to play and the kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups, pans, utensils, etc. We were unable to use the hot tub but the property manager was really responsive and tried their best to troubleshoot the issue. The house is clean, private, peaceful, and we had easy and great communication with the property management team. The best bedroom and bathroom are downstairs with its own entrance (completely separated from the rest of the house - i.e. living room and kitchen). The walk uphill from the main street and river is a serious climb on foot so be prepared for it.
