Road to the resort is full of holes and needs to be repaired. Reception staff at check in was not friendly, on the other hand others were. The property sits right on the beach, however Jaco sand is rough, this has nothing to do with the property. The location was in the middle of town and walkable to mostly all shops and restaurants."

"It was just myself and my daughter 16 and we really enjoyed our stay. The shuttle picked us up from the airport, the driver was waiting outside with my name on a pretty made sign. The staff was amazing and very attentive. I loved the welcome drink. Breakfast was great! The restaurant had good options to choose from. The property is small, private and safe but it is beautiful! The hotel is like being in the mountains, jungle atmosphere. Theres a spa and the 2 pools were beautiful and shaded. The rooms were very clean, the bathrooms were very nice and the beds were comfortable. I loved the balcony it was very spacious with a nice kitchen area and the view of the pool and beautiful scenery all around. The environment at the hotel was very peaceful, relaxing and true tranquility!!! Everything was within 15 minutes or less meaning the beach, adventure parks, grocery stores, fruit markets, etc. Neofauna Costa Rica Mariposario is on the same road from the hotel about a 10 minute walk or you could use the free bikes provided by the hotel, there is also a little store on the road and there are waterfalls if going right from the hotel and going all the way down past the small bridge and store there is a path, small little hike. Wish we could have stayed longer but it is definitely worth returning!!!"
