When it's sunny you can sit in front of the house or lie in the grass, when there's rain you can huddle inside or sit under the canopy. "We stayed for three nights in Snowy Lodge. Check in was easy, your keys are left in an envelope in the small reception, theres a map on the wall to tell you where to go. Take note with regards to check in and check out. Hotels.com states check in at 5 o'clock when its actually between 4 and 5 and check out at 9 when its actually 9:30 to 10. "As always our stay at the Mount Inn was great. Clare and James are very welcoming and make you feel at home. The hotel/pub is very old, which only adds to its character, and we did have an issue with the toilet not being fixed suitably to the floor. However, when I explained the problem to James he fixed it straight away. The included breakfasts are excellent with a wide choice. Other meals in this pub are also good, if you don't fancy going out in the evening. The bar is very relaxed and people very friendly. This was our fourth stay at the Mount Inn and we will be booking again."

You need to be up early to pay but free at night in carpark.Nice to have a decent cuppa and milk and biscuits provided very much appreciated. "This hotel/guest house is mainly a wedding venue but can be booked for individual stays. I was on a business trip and just needed a bed before an early start. Breakfast is provided in a little hamper and had plenty of good quality fruit, bread, danish etc which suited me better than a cooked breakfast at eg 7am because I was up and out by 6am. There was no human to check in but codes were provided for the main door and a key box for the room. Everything was clean and tasteful and it worked surprisingly well. Nice quiet, rural location."

"Very nice staff, quaint little hotel, very old pub. Rooms are modern. Because it’s so old the floors are slanted. Might be a problem if you have had a few drinks! The show is good, but the cubicle for it is very small, so not great if you are a larger person. Mattress was also very soft. But overall a very nice place."
