"D12 treetops at Clarach bay is a lovely setting. Family friendly and lovely staff. We had hot water and good recycling facilities. The site was perfect. However, some of our bedcovers had chocolate on them!!! We found spares to use instead. The green headboard on the main bedroom had a strong smell of unwashed hair ( it seriously needs to be replaced). We had no WiFi and on enquiring we were informed the previous guests had used it up? There were plenty cleaning materials and cooking facility...

"Really nice apartment right in the middle of town. Very comfortable beds and lovely cosy lounge. The kitchen area is also very tidy with all you need to cook for your family. "We as a family of 5 + a 3 yr old spent a delightful week at Penuwch Fach in July/August 2024. We were attending an interment and celebration of life nearby so the location was perfect. We were met by the owner and there was a welcome wine/biscuits plus tea and coffee. There is a Nespresso Gusto machine too plus a few pods :). "The food for dinner and breakfast were great. Parking behind the hotel was easy. The area around the hotel is starting to improve with not a lot of dining options. We had high tide and strong winds so the waves were crashing during the evening which was exciting. The room was spacious and the bathroom was good."

"The hotel was nice and comfortable and furnishings modern. the bed was extremely comfortable. The outside bar area overlooking the tidal estuary was lovely. We had an evening meal the first night of our stay that was delicious and reasonably priced. The location is great and extremely handy for public transport. The railways station is literally next door and that is how we travelled. Only a couple of things to be aware of, the access stairs to the upstairs rooms are narrow and extremely steep."

"Having the waterfall just outside the hotel was beautiful! You cant see it, but you can hear it and its amazing. The only thing that let down this hotel was the hot water. They had been having problems with the water for a few days, and we werent told on arrival. So after being on the road all day we didnt get to have a hot shower. This was an ongoing problem the time we were there."
