My bed was broken, the whole place felt dirty. My pillows were all different shapes and sizes. It was awful. The staff was nice and I have to say it was as clean as it could be, but everything was so old, there's no way to make it feel nice... the carpets and curtains were scary, and for 140 bucks a night I could have gone somewhere else. I would avoid this place at all costs and I would have left but I got in really late.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. I enjoyed my stay for 3 nights. The breakfast was very simple (it could be improved) The all day coffee was usually lukewarm but they have a microwave where I heated it.

We enjoyed the 2 rooms. Plenty of room. Pool was great. Breakfast was good. Great for a family Only thing is there was 4 of us staying and 3 towels in the room. Maybe just make sure enough towels for people who are staying.

I was disappointed with Sure Stay in Montrose and surprised that Best Western would be affiliated with this motel with their name on the line. Apparently this motel was vacate for sometime and they are in the process of doing the upgrades. But when we were there they have a long way to go to bring it a better review rating. In time that might change. The room was clean so don't worry about that. The bedding (1 sheet) and window sheers were shredded which is not great. Hopefully they will chage those out for the next guest. I feel that we should have gotten a discount for the place not being up to par instead of full price. The breakfast was good with some hot food and the usual cold items. The front desk gal needed help as she was also the breakfast room person. She was run ragged checking people out but having to cook the eggs, bacon and potatoes as well. She was helpful and pleasant.
