“This place is amazing. It was our 2nd stay. It is sooo close to Lake Murray, Fireside Restaurant, and the good course… but the best part is the onsite pond. We caught about a dozen bass (one 4 pounder) right off their covered dock. They keep the property mowed very low so no signs of snakes despite the country life. So secluded and peaceful. Perfect. ”

“The property was clean and not cluttered. It smelled fresh like new paint. The beds were comfortable and i appreciated they had good pillows and cotton sheets. There was plenty of towels and thoughtful touches like makeup wipes, soap, body wash and bottled water. There was also a keurig with coffee pods and individual creamers. “Very roomy, clean & quiet”

“Everything, including the pool, was extremely clean. The only issue was the bedding for the pull out couch wasn't where it was supposed to be, but the host responded promptly with instructions as to where to locate the bedding and how to access this location. Lovely home to stay at in a nice quiet neighborhood. ”

“Towering Oaks is a great venue that can accommodate your stay whether you have 5 people or need to host a large event. You should check it out. It's located in a very serene area just north of the DFW Metroplex. Wonderful location and the lodging was first class. It has a very relaxing atmosphere. Sitting on the patio by the firepit at night was the best. The staff was wonderful and were there onsite. I would definitely recommend this listing. ”

“Family weekend in the country! The kitchen was well equiped for our cooking needs and we especially appreciated the large refrigerator. The great room was comfortable and the dining table was perfect for playing cards and dominoes. Outside is rustic yet scenic. Owner was responsive to items that needed attention. ”

“We loved the bubble! Romantic and fun at the same time. Yes it was hot in the daytime, which is expected in the summer, but it couldn’t have been more perfect at night and in the morning. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Nearby wineries are also incredible. ”
