“Some of my experience here wasn't the hotel's fault. But they are redoing a major part of the road and getting in and out was an absolute nightmare, but that would have been the case with just about any place about 5km in either direction. One night after we were in bed there was a hammering on our door and, honestly, a dozen police were there demanding to see our passports with no explanation why, as none spoke English. The beach is littered with plastic. Our deluxe room had no chair only a beanbag and there was no safe or option to store valuables. ”
