A Beautiful Cabin on a Nice Wide Creek! FREE WiFi/ ROKU TV

If you need a place to get away from all the stress, look no further 'Laurel Creek' is where you want to rest! This cabin is charming and has a great view of the creek.

We have security cameras outside of cabin and are notified when guest arrive. All alarms will be turned off, upon arrival. Only outside camera will be active 24/7

No party's are allowed and if more than allotted number of guest stay overnight, deposit will not be refunded.

We have installed a whole house water filtration system, so no hard water that tastes and looks bad or has odors. Installed 10/20 /18.

The smoke-free cabin is decorated very tastefully with country charm. You can sit back on one of the rockers and take in a nice book, or just take a swing on the porch with a loved one with a nice cold glass of lemonade, while listening to the rippling creek.

There is a wrap-around porch with a private porch off the master bedroom, a great view of the creek! The kids will love the creek, just look under a few rocks and discover all sorts of critters. Bring a pole and try some fishing, no license is required.

You might even see a beaver or turkey depending on the season.. Leave some corn for deers as they do come in the yard to feed and drink quite often.

End your day by relaxing in the jacuzzi on our deck, while doing some stargazing!

Nice remote older cabin
The property was fine for me and my 2 dogs. Although there were 2 bedrooms/baths, I only used upstairs bedroom/bath. The property is pie shaped so a bit narrow in back with creek running down left side. The hot tub was ok but cover seemed awkward since you have to fold and lift off manually and it's not the lightest. The hot tub appeared to be recently shocked so sentiment was sitting on bench and floor but water was clear and perfect temperature. The house worked for our needs, especially liked oversized washer/drier that came in convenient with dogs. The only thing that shocked me is I had to move some electronic plugin, next to kitchen table, so I could plug my laptop in. I moved it to another plug outlet close by. When I was packing up, I went to move the electronic plugin back to its original location but it was gone. I left cabin locked anytime I was off property and at night so someone must have accessed cabin while I was out. Just very strange because I didn't have any notice of this. I have no idea why someone would remove an electronic plugin from property.

So relaxing.
A quick getaway for us. Cabin was true to description. Cozy and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Hoping to do a little fishing in the creek but the water level was down. However, we enjoyed the sound of the creek while we sat in the terrific adirondack chairs by the fire pit. The front yard is flat, spacious and begging for some football, soccer, or frisbee action. Also bring the fixings for s’mores. The roasting sticks are already there.

Great Getaway!
The cabin was overall great! Loved the tranquility and peacefulness of the location. The babbling brook was awesome sitting at the firepit. The hot tub was great for relaxing the muscles after a long day visiting Blue Ridge. The owners were very attentive to our needs. We would definitely love to stay here again! :)

I reguested 2 amenities when booking this trip. I requested a hot tub and a fire pit. 30 minutes before we reached the cabin, I receive a text stating the pump is out on hot tub. Repairs to be made following morning. Repairman shows up at 10AM replaces pump. Shows my wife how to turn off water and turn on hot tub, then leaves. Wired wrong and was nit heated or working when we returned from bday dinner. Owner tells me I should gave contacted him. I had already communicated several times and he wasah ass hole. This doesn't even include the yard being mowed at 9:30 in the morning.( owner claims to have no control over yard work) HE WILL NOT GET ANYMORE OF MY MONEY AND I SHOULD GET SOME BACK.

My husband and I spent a long weekend in Murphy at Laurel Ridge Cabin. The accommodations were comfortable and kitchen is well stocked. Beautiful yard with creek behind is very relaxing. We loved being able to bring our fur baby along! The only suggestion would be to include trash removal fee in property rental. The hours of the sanitation station to drop off trash are not convenient for a 10 am check out time.

Cabin was in perfect order, Had everything we needed and a few unexpended surprises too. Location is very nice and quite except for the creek, which is what we were looking for. Plenty of games and out side activates in back yard. Lookin forward to a return stay in the future. Owner was quite helpful with any question we had a lone the way.

We stayed for a total of four nights and the property was wonderful. Everything is as the listing states. Check in was easy peasy and the drive into the property itself was smooth. Plenty of room for four of us and was very well stocked with the basic stuff that comes with a VRBO. The outside porches are wonderful to sit, relax, listen to the creek, and watch the fireflies. We didn’t use the grill or fire pit (we were out exploring) but that appeared to be in great condition. The water pressure was awesome and we had zero issues. As far was the wi-fi and cell service, welcome to the mountains. The wi-fi served its purpose and if you expect to get cell service when you are in any part of the mountains, that’s a really high expectation. The owner of the properties have zero control over that one! The whole property was clean and comfortable. Overall, we had a great stay and will be back soon, for longer! Thank you so much for a wonderful time!

Very lovely cabin on the creek. Neighbors are super close but no one bothered us. There seems to be some plumbing issues - super low water pressure and septic odor. Plumbers showed up on the last morning of our stay so hopefully those issues are temporary. Loved exploring Murphy :)

The cabin was very clean, Robin was there when we arrived at 4p and she was finishing up. The guest bedroom downstairs was very comfortable with memory foam mattress. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, washer and dryer were very convenient. We were able to pick up Netflix to enjoy movies. The sofa swallows you when you sit down but comfortable to lay on. The hot tub was clean and relaxing to sit in while listening to the water out front. The tall trees surrounding the cabin gave good privacy except out front but no one was staying there so it was perfect! The master upstairs was really nice and bed was comfortable also. I was a disappointed that the tub in master doesn't hold water. We did see lots of deer throughout the weekend. The 20 minute drive to Blue Ridge was nice. Lots of shops and cafe's to enjoy! We are returning to Blue Ridge this summer!

Unfortunately the fireplace didn’t work which was on the top of our list. The couch was very uncomfortable and the upstairs tv didn’t work. The water pressure was horrible. There was a jet tub upstairs that we were so excited about but when we tried to fill it up we ran out of water:(
