"We spent a lovely 5 nights at the Gite de Cambalu which was well equipped and very well situated for visiting the towns and chateaux (especially Chenonceau) of the Loire valley. The setting in the countryside was very peaceful and it really nice to eat fresh eggs in the morning from the farm courtesy of our host. You could eat out within a short drive if you don’t want to eat at the gite. Aude was excellent with her communication relating to our visit and also had some very good recommendations for restaurants and wine tasting. Thank you!"

"We had two rooms, each with a sleeping area, nicely-furnished sitting area, and large bathroom--all this for an unbelievable reasonable rate. The dining room is beautiful. The breakfast, was outstanding and reasonably priced. We did not have dinner here. The front desk staff and dining room staff were extraordinarily helpful and capable."

"Lovely accommodation. Separate sitting area was comfortable. Bedroom was lovely and clean as was the ensuite. In a quiet area with plenty parking. Eating outlets close by , walking and further afield but close by car.Hosts were very nice and accommodating. "
