"It is a very beautiful property with amazing views!
The staff was very friendly. They were constantly cleaning.
The food was great and reasonably priced. (We have had a hard time with finding good food for a good price in the previous places we stayed.
The beach was incredible!
It is a a tough drive on gravel would recommend a 4 wheel drive with good tires. We had a small car and had to go very slow. There is three creeks that need to be crossed we were okay because it is the dry hot season."

"Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects.
That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...

"Luna Azul was the perfect base of operations for our vacation. We absolutely loved the remote and peaceful atmosphere, and especially the incredible views. Days spent at the house around the pool were a great way to relax and unwind. The location was also ideal for exploring the Nicoya peninsula. We enjoyed a coffee plantation tour, horseback riding, surfing at several of the nearby beaches, and touring the small beach towns. Finally, the caretaker Antonio really took the experience to the next level. He was so friendly and helpful and really helped make our stay comfortable and special. Communication with Mike throughout the process was easy and timely, and he provided us with a thorough guidebook and recommendations. We would love to come stay again!"
