this b&B sits right acrossed from the river with a boardwalk that goes all the way to lake michigan. The boardwalk also has points of interest, restraunts along the way.
It is also only 2 short blocks to the shopping area that have cool little shops, restraunts, bars, coffee shops, bakery, etc.
the inn itself doesnt have an elavator that the guests can use, it doesn't say that on the website, which made getting to the room (3rd floor) challanging.
The room was quaint, king bed, couple chairs, tv, full bath with the most powerful shower head i've used in a long time.
The room had a faint musty smell when we got there, but it was in mid-may and i figured this may be due to us being the 1st guest to use the hvac unit this year (?), not sure.
cute inn, has coffee and fresh baked cookies everyday from 4:00-9:00.

Deb and the other lady working there were very nice and helpful.
Only 1 vehicle allowed to park in the lot per party .

We enjoyed our stay here…it was in a great location…walking distance to many shops & restaurants, plus the path to the state park. Our room was very spacious, with a fireplace and very comfortable bed. It was very quaint & charming and looks recently redecorated and updated. The staff was also very helpful & friendly. We will definitely stay here again!
