If you go here it's nice but the website is miss leading with photos. You see the big beach hotel overlooking the waters but the St.Johns hotel is across the street no beach view. But a nice pool view. It was okay

No WiFi outlets to charge my electronics, A $60 surprised charge was added. Going to the stage show around the building, the sidewalk steps going down to the front sidewalk had no railing so when I came back from the stage show, I fell going up the steps on my operated knee . Thought about calling 911 then a Layer

We (myself, wife, and 2 children) booked a room at this place for 1 night. About 10pm, the AC stopped working. After calling twice, the desk finally sent someone to look at the AC. The maintenance man showed up with no tools, and simply said he couldn't fix it. I called the front desk and was told there were no more rooms available but he could move me to a suite at another building. So, at 11:30pm, we had pack up our room, move our car, and go into another room. After checking into the room, I found that 1 of the 2 AC units in the suite was not working. At that point, it was well past midnight, and we had to get up at 5:30 am. We all ended up sleeping in the same bed in the room with the functional AC, which was extremely uncomfortable. The next morning I spoke with the front desk and asked for a refund. The worker at the front desk said he was unable to provide a refund, as the booking was with Expedia. I contacted Expedia, who said they were unable to contact the hotel and refused to give a refund. Basically, I am out of $232 for a room with no AC. Needless to say, I will not stay at this hotel again. Also, I have cancelled all future bookings with Expedia and will not use them in the future.

This hotel on Expedia was misleading. It said "on the beach", but it was across the street. It also was part of Caravell resorts and that was not mentioned. The picture on Expedia is part of the resort that is on the beach, but the St. John's Inn is a 3 story gray building. The only picture that was correct was the room picture. The room smelled of chlorine or some sort of strong cleaner, had flaking paint on the walls, and the bathroom doorknob was not secure. Stay was acceptable, but could have been better.
