This is an amazing and beautiful place filled with beautiful furnishings and common spaces. The spacious dining area with its beautiful wood furniture and table settings was unlike any place I’ve ever stayed. The included breakfast was lovely. Even though we spoke little Spanish, we were able to communicate as needed.

We stayed at Hotel Santa Cruz Plaza for five days with our family over the Chilean Independence Day holidays, and breakfast quickly became one of our favourite moments of the day.
I’ve travelled to more than 60 countries, stayed in many hotels around the world and done several cruises, and this is honestly one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had.
There is a fantastic variety of traditional Chilean and countryside-style food, fresh fruit, great coffee and something for everyone, including the...

Excelente y original experiencia boutique

Terra Vina is a nice hotel, just outside of town. It’s surrounded by vineyards, and is convenient to everything. The front desk staff is very helpful, and are “English Friendly “. They will make reservations for you, give helpful advice, and are all around a joy to interact with. The breakfast has fresh fruits, fresh breads, eggs, cereals, etc. We didn’t eat any other meals there. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. We ate at Vino Bello, restaurant next door, and it was good and reasonably...

The best area to stay in Nancagua is generally within the town center itself, or in one of the surrounding rural accommodations just outside the town.
The town center provides the most convenience for travelers. Here, you'll find local shops, eateries, and access to basic services. The main plaza, Plaza de Armas de Nancagua, is a central landmark and a pleasant spot for a stroll. For travelers who prefer to be close to local life and have easy access to amenities, staying in the heart of Nancagua is a practical choice.
For those seeking a more tranquil experience, particularly couples looking for a relaxing escape, the rural areas immediately surrounding Nancagua offer excellent options. These accommodations, often haciendas or boutique guesthouses, provide a peaceful setting amidst vineyards and agricultural landscapes.
When is the best time to go to Nancagua?
The best time to visit Nancagua is during the dry season, which runs from October to April, with November to March offering the most consistently pleasant weather.
During these months, you can expect warm, sunny days with minimal rainfall, making it ideal for exploring the region's vineyards and enjoying outdoor activities. The weather is great for vineyard tours, horseback riding through the countryside, or simply relaxing by a pool.
Couples looking for a romantic getaway will appreciate the comfortable climate for vineyard visits and wine tastings, often accompanied by scenic views of the Andes. The clear skies are also excellent for stargazing in the evenings.
For those interested in the grape harvest, visiting in late February or March offers a great experience, as many wineries are buzzing with activity during this time.
